# Plans and trial

> How the 30-day trial works, how the Start, Growth and Enterprise plans differ, and how seats are counted.

**Who manages the plan:** the Owner and Administrators.
**Where:** **Settings → Plan and billing**.

## Free trial

* A new workspace gets **30 days** of the full Growth plan.
* No payment card is required.
* You can choose a plan at any point during the trial. You pay nothing today — the first payment happens when the trial ends.
* If you don't choose a plan, after 30 days the workspace becomes **read-only**. Your data stays, you can export it, and new changes wait for a plan.

## Who counts as a billable person

We bill **active** people — those who have accepted their invitation or been activated manually. You don't buy seats up front.

* Adding a profile or sending an invitation costs nothing on its own.
* Deactivated, archived and deleted people aren't billed.
* We bill a minimum of 10 seats, even when fewer people are active.

When activating another person would raise the number of billable seats, Tivero shows the cost and asks you to confirm before anything is charged.

## Who can buy Tivero

At launch, Tivero sells only to businesses in the European Union. The price and currency follow the billing country.
