# What is Tivero

> Tivero helps teams plan absences and planned unavailability: requests, approvals, balances and a working-day calendar in one place.

Tivero is an app for managing employee absences and the planned unavailability of B2B contractors. An employee submits a request, the right person approves it, and the balance and the team calendar update on their own.

You open the app at [dash.tivero.app](https://dash.tivero.app).
