What the messages that block a request mean, and who can clear them.
| Message | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| ”The holiday calendar needs to be set up by an administrator.” | The holiday calendar for your work location and year isn’t confirmed. | See Holiday calendar needs setup. |
| ”We can’t calculate working days correctly for this work location and period right now.” | There’s no calendar data for this period, or no work schedule. | An administrator checks the holiday calendar (status No data) and the person’s work schedule. |
| ”The opening balance has not been set yet.” | The policy requires a balance, but no opening balance is set. | HR sets the balance on the person page. See Balances. |
| ”Your allowance has not been set yet.” | The policy uses a Set individually allowance, and yours isn’t set. | HR sets the allowance under Individual settings. |
| ”…you have no absence rules assigned yet.” | You don’t have an absence policy. | HR assigns a policy. |
| ”Your absence rules are not configured yet.” | The policy is incomplete. | HR completes the policy (types and allowance). |
| ”This absence type needs a pool that has not been configured yet.” | The type draws on a pool the policy doesn’t define. | HR sets the pool allowance in the policy. |
| ”This absence type is not available for your form of collaboration.” | The chosen type doesn’t match your collaboration form. | Choose another type, or ask HR to check your collaboration form and policy. |
| ”No one is configured to approve this request.” | No approver can be determined. | See Approval issues. |
| ”The selected range contains no working days.” | The range covers only days off or holidays. | Check the dates. See How working days are counted. |
